National Cockroach Project

 

 

Papa and the girls got to be citizen scientists today!!!  The Rockefeller University in New York has put out a call to collect cockroaches from different places across the globe.  A recent discovery showed that the roaches in NY live in genetically distinct "neighborhoods", so the researchers decided to expand the scope of the project.  We were happy to send in some of the first roaches from Alabama!
